My Labour Journey - Part 1

14072012, 0745hrs. The day I found out I'm pregnant.

8.30pm, 23 March 2013 Saturday.

I started to have cramps. U know menstrual cramps. But I didn't give it a complain cos I tot it is normal to have this kinda pain during pregnancy. Specially when u are heavily pregnant. Furthermore, from what I've learn, contraction pain will be a continuous pain. But this pain that I'm having, it comes every 10 - 20min. I didn't have backache nor any bleeding or even a single sign of labour. So, all I did is lay down on my bed and try to relax myself.

Time keep passing by and yes, the menstrual cramps is still ongoing. I didn't inform my hubby or any of my family members. All I did is just istighfar and relax. I really have difficulty in sleeping that night. I will be asleep for an hour plus or maybe half an hour, then awake n then sleep again n keep continue. At 3 plus in the morning (my usual pee time, hehe), the cramps is still there and I really had a lil difficulty to stand. But I just force myself to stand on my feet and move to the toilet on my own. After all the business done, I'm off to bed again with the cramps.

6.27am, 24 March 2013, Sunday.

14112012, 1415hrs we finally know our baby gender and it's a BOY!

Since I didn't have a good sleep due to the cramps, I wake up at this timing for another pee. Yes, I still have the difficulty to stand of my feet but still stubborn enough to be independent and not disturbing my hubby who is soundly asleep. So, I took of my pants then my undies and I'M BLEEDING! I continue with my pee tho' (cos cannot tahan one!) and I saw a big lump of blood clot. The exact kinda blood when you're heavily on your period. I get panic lah kan. I woke my hubby up and the most annoying respond I get from him is, "abih nak me buat ape?". Sumpah I just feel like slapping his face but of course lah I didn't do it. I knock on my parents room and inform my mum bout it and she asked me to rush to the hospital. At this point, my cramps starts to makes me go WTF!!!! Ala, the menstrual kinda cramp yang rabak GILER. My hubby got up from  bed and ask me what to do. Due to my cramps n my panic, aku tak larat nak mengamuk. So I told him we need to go to the hospital NOW. And when I say now, my hubby can mandi lagi lah eh. Adoi...

After all the drama from my hubby, we reach the hospital bout 7.30pm or earlier. We go straight to labor ward and yes, I walk to the labor ward with the cramps i'm having. Reach to the ward, the nurse asked certain questions like what time it bleeds, rate 1 to 10 how's the pain like and  blablabbla. Then the nurse gave me the hospital clothes and start to jab me with antibiotic. Well, I was diagnosed with a common bacteria infection for pregnancy mum. N I've to be given the jab every 4 hour.

12.15pm, 24 March 2013, Sunday.

Time strike 12+pm and the pain still around. Rate 1 to 10, I give it a 6 or maybe 7 lah. Eventho the pain is still pain, my opening is still 2cm open n my waterbag is still not burst! Then the doctor and the nurse send me to the ward instead. They dowanna give me an extra charge for the labor ward. Takut mahal dah. So, like I say, I was given antibiotic jab every 4 hr and of course lah the nurse need to keep an eye on me. Tunggu punya tunggu till the next day.
